The 4th Annual Spring Art Show will be invitational in that the Greater Marysville Art Guild, Camano Roaming Artists, Snohomish Arts Guild and the Arlington Art Council are invited to participate along with members of the Stanwood Camano Arts Guild. The Spring Art Show is an opportunity to display creative, original work with the possibility of winning an award.

The Spring Art Show is a judged event with awards for superior works in two-dimensional and three-dimensional art. Participants are not required to attend the show for its duration, but may be asked to help staff the sales counter or other functions for a short period of time. Only original artwork will be accepted—prints or copies are not permitted. The art must not have won any previous awards in any show. Artists are asked to bring most recent works. All entries may be for sale. The artwork will be judged by a committee of five to seven judges chosen by the Spring Art Show Committee.

Art will be presented in twelve different categories. The Committee suggests that you stay within one specific category or buy another space to display different media. Categories are: Watercolor, Oil painting, Acrylic painting, Drawing (pen & ink, pencil, charcoal), Pastels, Mixed Media & Collage, Photography, Jewelry, Sculpture, Glass, Pottery & Ceramics, and Artisan (miscellaneous crafts).

The Spring Art Show of 2006 will not include booth sales. Each artist (two-dimension) may purchase exhibit space on grids (see illustrations to the right) set up in an ‘H’ pattern. Only the outside-facing surfaces will be utilized for display. Artists may purchase as many panels as they wish, but keep in mind that we are asking for your best work to exhibit as if in a gallery setting. As pieces sell, artists may replenish their display.

The center panels are 6 ft. wide x 4 ft. high (24 sq. feet) - $30.00 each
The side panels are 4 x 4 feet useable space (16 sq. feet) - $20.00 each (bottom 2' not used as exhibit space)
One artist can buy an entire grid - $100.00
Three-dimensional art - exhibit space will be $20.00 for up to four pieces. If 3D art is large (over four feet in any dimension or 100 lbs maximum) only two pieces may be entered for $20.00.
