4609 190th Street NE, Arlington, WA 98223. The Spring Art Show will be
invitational in that the Greater Marysville Art Guild, Camano Roaming Artists,
Snohomish Arts Guild and the Arlington Art Council are invited to participate
along with the full members of the Stanwood Camano Arts Guild. The show will
comprise two distinct parts:
• A Judged Art Show
• Artist Booth Sales (limited to members of the Stanwood Camano
Arts Guild)
Judged Art Show:
You may enter up to four pieces.
Fees: $15.00 for Stanwood Camano Arts Guild Members/ $20.00 for non-members.
This is a judged art show with awards for superior works in two-dimensional and
three-dimensional art. Participants are not required to attend the show for its
duration, but may be asked to help staff the sales counter or other functions
for a short period of time. Prints and copies are not permitted. The art must
not have won any previous awards in any show. All entries must be for sale and
reasonably priced. Two-dimensional artwork is limited to a maximum of four feet
in any rectangular dimension (length and/or width); three-dimensional artwork is
limited to four feet in any dimension and 100 pounds maximum.* Artists are asked
to bring most recent works. The artwork will be judged by a committee of five to
seven judges chosen by the Stanwood Camano Arts Guild board members. Limited to
the first applicant submittals resulting in a total of 60 two-dimensional
artworks, and 30 three-dimensional artworks. Artist demonstrations are permitted
and encouraged, but only for two-dimensional art.
*Due to space availability, please limit very large pieces to two.
Artist Booth Sales:
Participants must be members in good standing of the
Stanwood Camano Arts Guild. Fee: $50.00 for 10 ft x 10 ft space. A booth space
may be shared. Entrants are responsible for providing display equipment (grids,
tables, lighting etc.). Entrants are expected to staff their own booths for the
show duration and collect sales tax, and are also requested to report gross
sales for the purposes of assessing the success of the show. Limited to 19
spaces.
