Artist Profile
Diane Hill is a Northwest watercolor and oil artist who
has exhibited, competed professionally, and taught art for the past 35
years.
Diane has traveled and painted scenes from Europe, Nepal, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Her method of communication is a sketch book, from drawing pictures of hill children in Nepal, to sketching in the back streets of China. Diane has won awards in numerous juried shows, including the Bellevue Arts and Crafts Show, Art by the Bay, and the Coupeville Arts Festival. Diane's derives great joy from teaching and watching students developing their expressive skills through painting. Diane says, "art is an exquisite expression of one's self. To be able to convey that inner feeling through the media of painting is a marvelous mystery." Diane Hill can be reached at 360.387.0393. |
